Queen Elizabeth definitive stamps 1952-67

Portrait by Dorothy Wilding (1893-1976), these stamps are known by collectors as "Wildings"
Note that they are three quarter profile similat to the Downey heads of KGV.
There are five designs by five designers.
Perhaps Dorothy Wilding should be compared with William Wyon (1795-1851) who modelled the head of Queen Victoria.
